Executive Profile

Paresh Ardeshna.

Promoter - Hi-Tech Transpower
Industrialist - Engineer - Mentor
Rajkot, Gujarat, India
On a mission
“Hold the engineering to spec. Hold the project to schedule. Hold the customer for a decade.”

Paresh Ardeshna is the Promoter & Director of Hi-Tech Transpower Pvt. Ltd. - a pan-India engineering and EPC services company in power transmission and distribution infrastructure (HV and EHV transmission lines, substations, switchyards and grid works), established 2005. A first-generation, self-made engineer-industrialist based in Gujarat, India, he has built the platform from a single flagship into a focused group of five ventures spanning power transmission EPC (Hi-Tech Transpower), transformer and transmission technical services (Hi-Tech Trans Technocrates), renewable energy (Four Square Green Energy LLP and FSGE Green Energy) and industrial engineering (Lattice Zincare).

The Founder - First-Generation, Self-Made

Paresh's entrepreneurial story is self-made. A first-generation businessman with no inherited enterprise behind him, he chose power engineering - one of the hardest, most execution-intensive sectors in India - and chose the long path of building a category-defining engineering services firm. Hi-Tech Transpower, established in 2005, was the result.

The category was unforgiving. Power transmission and distribution work sells on engineering rigour, project-delivery discipline, safety and on-time commissioning - not on price alone. Hi-Tech chose to lead with consistency. Engineering documentation, sourcing discipline, project management and quality control were specified to the standards a serious utility customer expects, and the customers Paresh chose to court were those who would specify hard and stay long.

The Operator

Day-to-day, Paresh runs the Hi-Tech / FSGE group as a hands-on promoter. The remit covers engineering, sourcing, project management, execution and customer commissioning - and the workforce of engineers, project managers and on-site supervisors that keep the platform running on a delivered-and-commissioned metronome. He works close to the work - close to the substation, close to the line, close to the customers whose project schedules turn on a delivered, commissioned, running asset.

The operating discipline shows up in how the group is structured: engineering before everything, safety as culture, the long horizon as the planning unit. Power-sector EPC is an unforgiving category; the only durable differentiator is execution. That has been the starting philosophy and remains the operating one.

The Investor

Beyond the operating role, Paresh is an active capital allocator across the group's footprint. The bias is unambiguous: capital placed in engineering capability and project-execution infrastructure compounds more reliably than capital placed anywhere else for a first-generation Indian industrialist. Working capital flows through the projects; capacity expansions are funded from internal accruals where possible; debt is used sparingly and only against assets that generate cash.

The Four Square Green Energy (FSGE) renewable platform - Four Square Green Energy LLP and FSGE Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. - is the group's primary expression of this thesis, structured around long-cycle solar, wind and hybrid generating assets. Lattice Zincare extends the industrial-engineering arm. Selectively, Paresh supports other operators in the Indian engineering ecosystem - younger founders setting up engineering and EPC units, technical-service vendors, project-execution specialists - where his operating knowledge adds real value.

The Mentor - For First-Generation Founders

Paresh engages actively with younger founders in engineering, power infrastructure, renewable energy, contract execution and family-run industrial enterprises - across the Gujarat and wider Indian industrial cluster. As a first-generation founder who built Hi-Tech Transpower from the ground up, he is candid about what the work actually takes.

The conversations are direct. Founders reach out for a view on scoping a transmission EPC bid, how to staff an engineering team for a first utility customer, how to structure an SPV for a renewable energy project, how to manage working capital across a long project cycle, how to handle the first transformer service contract, or how to build a multi-venture engineering group without losing operating focus. He engages personally - the door stays open.

The Group Portfolio

The Hi-Tech / FSGE group's portfolio spans:

  • Hi-Tech Transpower Pvt. Ltd. (flagship; Promoter & Director since 2005) - turnkey EPC for HV and EHV transmission lines, substations, switchyards and distribution networks.
  • Hi-Tech Trans Technocrates Pvt. Ltd. (Director since 2011) - transformer and transmission technical services, testing and commissioning.
  • Four Square Green Energy LLP (Designated Partner since 2019) - the renewable-energy platform for solar, wind and hybrid generation.
  • FSGE Green Energy Pvt. Ltd. (Director since 2019) - solar, wind and hybrid renewable-energy project development and operation.
  • Lattice Zincare Pvt. Ltd. (Director since 2017) - industrial-engineering and infrastructure services.

The customer base spans utilities, state and central public-sector entities, independent power producers (IPPs), renewable energy buyers, industrial customers and engineering procurement partners across India.

Vision

Setting a new standard for power and energy, from Rajkot to the world.

India is in the middle of a once-in-a-generation build-out of power and energy, and the opportunity runs across every sector the group serves - power transmission and distribution, substations and grid networks, solar, wind and hybrid renewable energy, civil infrastructure and manufacturing. The vision is to lead in each of them. Not as a contractor that takes whatever work arrives, but as an engineering group that sets the benchmark for how the work is done, and raises the standard of the industry it operates in.

That ambition began in a single Rajkot office and now reaches across India - and it does not stop there. The goal is to grow from a regional engineering firm into a name trusted nationally, and then globally: a 1000 crore group within three years, on the way to becoming one of the most admired clean-energy and infrastructure companies anywhere. Measured not by size alone, but by the standard held on every project, in every field, in every state it reaches.

Operating Principles

The way Paresh runs the Hi-Tech / FSGE group is anchored in six principles - the standards he will not compromise on, even as the platform scales:

  1. Engineering before everything - Design discipline, technical specification, project documentation - non-negotiables. A transmission line or substation outlives its commissioning by decades; the engineering has to match the load it carries for the next thirty years.
  2. Safety as culture, not slogan - Power transmission, substation work, transformer service and renewable construction are real-risk environments. Safety procedures are built into how projects run daily - not unpacked the day before an audit. People go home at the end of every shift.
  3. Stay close to the project site - Decisions made close to engineering, sourcing, execution and commissioning - and to the customer's specification. The promoter who knows what is happening at the bay, the substation and the site cannot make a bad capacity decision in the boardroom.
  4. The long horizon - Build a group that compounds for decades, not a single project win. Time horizons measured in customer reorder cycles, technical-service contracts and SPV operating lives - not in quarterly results.
  5. Cash discipline through long cycles - Power-sector EPC and renewable project execution are long-cycle working-capital businesses. Receivables managed tighter than payables. Capex out of accruals where possible. The group grows on what it earns - not on what it borrows beyond its means.
  6. Open door for builders - Time given freely to younger founders building in engineering, power infrastructure, renewables and disciplined family enterprises. The Indian engineering ecosystem rises together - and Indian infrastructure is stronger when first-generation operators back the next ones.
